• The Ordnance Society is re-vamping this web-site with a new, modern, web-site which is planned to be launched at the start of 2014.
• We now have a ‘Twitter’ account which has daily postings of ordnance related pictures, with a different theme every week:

• The Ordnance Society has now joined ‘The First World War Centenary’, led by The Imperial War Museum and will be announcing our WWI activities there.
• An Ordnance Society Board Meeting was held on Saturday November 23rd – the minutes will be included in Newsletter No. 105.
• The Journal Vol. 21 has now been despatched and although thinner than usual, the next Volume, No. 22, will be published early next year.
• Newsletter 104 is now available If you do not receive your copy in the post, or do not receive e-mail notification (with the password), that it is available for download from this web-site, then please contact the Ordnance Society at: ordnance.society@btinternet.com
• IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL MEMBERS RECEIVING THEIR NEWSLETTERS BY POST– Future hard copy versions of the Newsletter, from No. 105, will be in A5 format. This is a cost reduction measure and a letter explaining the changes will be enclosed.

An Ordnance Society Board Meting was held on 27th April where Trevor Parker and Kay Smith were elected temporary Chairman and temporary Secretary respectively, until the AGM. Other topics discussed included production of The Journal and Newsletter, improvements to the OS web-site and the membership name and address list, the OS finances, and visits.

Ordnance Society AGM will be held on Saturday June 22nd at the Royal Armouries, Leeds – details have been e-mailed or posted to members and these include nomination forms for OS Board members.
